Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 July 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of ScanMint, operated by Vince Enterprises, trading as ScanMint (“ScanMint”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using ScanMint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

2. The ScanMint service

ScanMint provides tools for creating QR codes and, where available, account, subscription and advertising features.

You are responsible for the links, content and destinations connected to QR codes you create. You must ensure that your destination links remain active, accurate, lawful and suitable for your intended audience.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

Tell us promptly at scanmintenquires@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use ScanMint to create, distribute or promote QR codes that:

  • contain malware, viruses, phishing attempts or deceptive redirects;
  • facilitate fraud, scams, impersonation or unlawful activity;
  • link to illegal, harmful, abusive or infringing material;
  • violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights or other legal rights;
  • interfere with, damage or attempt to gain unauthorised access to ScanMint; or
  • breach applicable laws, regulations or these Terms.

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect ScanMint, users or third parties.

5. Free plans

Free-plan features, limits and availability are shown on the ScanMint website. We may change free-plan features or limits from time to time, subject to applicable law and reasonable notice where appropriate.

6. Paid subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis, as shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal available from your ScanMint dashboard.

Unless Stripe shows otherwise during cancellation, cancelling your subscription stops future renewal charges and your paid access will normally continue until the end of your current paid billing period.

Refund rights, including any rights that apply under consumer law, are not excluded by these Terms.

7. Price and service changes

We may change plan prices, features or availability from time to time. Where a change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide notice where required by law or the payment platform.

8. Advertising plans

Advertising submissions are subject to review and approval. We may reject, pause, remove or request changes to an advertisement where we reasonably believe it is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, unsuitable, technically harmful or inconsistent with these Terms.

Purchasing an advertising plan does not guarantee a particular number of views, clicks, leads, sales or business results.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that advert content, destination links, claims, images and promotions comply with applicable law and do not infringe the rights of others.

9. Intellectual property

ScanMint and its branding, website design, software and content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You retain rights in content and destination links you provide. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, display and process that content where necessary to provide, review, secure and operate the service.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but ScanMint may be unavailable at times because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security issues or circumstances outside our control.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary. We will try to give notice where practical for material changes.

11. Disclaimers

ScanMint is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose.

You should test QR codes before publishing or printing them. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services or content reached through links contained in user-created QR codes.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanMint will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using ScanMint at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, create risk for ScanMint or others, fail to pay applicable charges, or where required by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of ScanMint after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be sent to hello@scanmint.co.uk .

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you rights in another jurisdiction.
